River House I

Glamor-camping at its best! Also a wonderful place for a groomsmen’s gathering or photoshoot. Pack your fly rod and bathing suit. Local mountain bike and hiking trails — including a few of New Hampshire’s 4,000-footers — will entertain the adventurous. And everyone enjoys finishing the day with an evening of storytelling and laughter around the campfire.

Cabin was rebuilt 15 years ago and outfitted with a porch and rocking chairs perched above the Bearcamp River. Nearby tent sites and level gravel parking area to accommodate recreation vehicles.

The Corn Crib

A small space with a rich history. Written mathematical accounting on the inside walls dates the structure back to the 1800s. Originally located a half a mile down the street, the corn crib stored the seasonal harvest to feed the farmer’s animals through winter. Claudia brought it to Roads End and restored in 2017.

Now fancied by some grandchildren as the best place to spend the night, the Corn Crib has been used as a bridal suite! How ever you envision its use, you have to admit it’s adorable.
